Job Title: Senior DevOps AWS Engineer

Location: Richmond, VA / McLean, VA (Onsite)

Eligibility: U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders only

Experience Required: 8 years

• Platform Modernization: Help migrate legacy systems to a modern serverless platform.
• Automation: Focus on automating infrastructure and application workflows using tools like Terraform, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Pipeline Migration: Assist with the migration of application and infrastructure pipelines to a more modern, scalable system.
• Support: Provide Tier 2 support in collaboration with application and platform teams, troubleshooting and remediating issues as needed.
• Collaboration: Work alongside 3 application teams and 1 platform team to support feature releases and customer needs.
• Customer Needs: Address customer-related issues and remediation tasks to ensure the platform's success.

• Terraform: 5-7 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining infrastructure as code.
• AWS: Strong experience working with AWS services, including Containers, Lambdas, and other serverless technologies.
• Docker: Experience in creating and managing Docker containers.
• Jenkins: Proven expertise in using Jenkins for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• GitHub: Familiarity with version control and GitHub workflows for code management.

• AWS Fargate: Experience with Fargate for container management and serverless compute solutions.
• Content Management Systems: Familiarity with Content Management Platforms and understanding how DevOps practices apply to such environments.

• 8 years of experience in DevOps roles, specifically working with cloud-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with AWS technologies.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and support complex platforms and applications.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certifications.
• Experience working in agile teams and with modern cloud development practices.
