Position Overview:

The client seeks a skilled SAP Ariba Specialist to support our procurement and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and optimizing SAP Ariba modules to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Procure-to-Pay process. This role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders, technical expertise, and the ability to drive process improvements while adhering to industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP Ariba process solutions.
• Assist in the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Ariba modules, including Ariba Buying, Supplier Lifecycle and Performance, Contract Invoicing, and Spend Analytics.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements leveraging SAP Ariba capabilities and integrations.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for end-users, resolving issues related to the SAP Ariba platform.
• Offer insights into effective change management for Ariba implementation across internal and external organizations.
• Participate in implementation planning and execution to ensure timely delivery and maximize the value of Ariba products.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, and drive project milestones, and deliverables.
• Create and maintain comprehensive functional documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and user manuals.
• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.

Required Skills:

• Background in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in implementing and configuring SAP Ariba modules, preferably in a retail environment.
• Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes, particularly in Indirect Procurement.
• Proficiency in SAP Ariba solutions, including Ariba Buying, Guided Buying, Contract Compliance, Supplier Performance, and Spend Analytics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while promoting process adoption and change management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues to provide effective solutions.
• SAP Ariba certification(s) is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP and OpenText VIM systems is beneficial.
