We are seeking an experienced Site Development Project Manager to lead and manage land development engineering projects from conceptual design through construction. This role requires a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills and proven leadership in civil engineering and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage site development projects from planning to construction completion
- Lead a team of engineers and designers to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Oversee the preparation and review of engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Serve as the primary client contact for assigned projects, ensuring clear communication and client satisfaction
- Coordinate closely with stormwater management engineers and incorporate hydrology and grading solutions into designs
- Liaise with municipalities, agencies, and other stakeholders to secure permits and approvals
- Ensure projects comply with all relevant standards, codes, and client specifications
- Mentor and oversee junior staff, reviewing and guiding their work
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Kentucky Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain
- 12 years of experience in site development design within a consulting environment
- Strong background in site grading, utility design, sanitary and storm sewer, water servicing, and road/parking layout
- Experience with cost estimating, hydrology, and construction documentation
- Project management experience, including scheduling, budgeting, and reporting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling tools (e.g., Storm Sewers, Hydroflow)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a collaborative approach to project delivery
