New York Water Tours is seeking a skilled pier coordinator who will manage the daily scanning, and coordination at the pier. This will include but is not limited to, execution of customer service, keeping the pier running efficiently, accurately recording customer attendance via our in house recording systems, and the submittal of various reporting forms.

This will include but is not limited to, execution of customer service, keeping the pier running efficiently, accurately recording customer attendance via our in house recording systems, and the submittal of various reporting forms.
Responsibilities
- Ensure operational needs are met at the pier including ensuring staff equipment, signage and displays are present and in good working condition
- Ensure all tickets are being scanned and any issues are resolved and/or reported
- Ensure all forms and reports are completed and submitted accordingly
- Reporting the daily scans and various form encompassing the total amount of passengers on board each event/cruise
- Communicate with TopView bus dispatch and management to receive up to date information regarding expected daily passenger counts, street closures, or any variable that will affect operations
- Constant use and monitoring of various technological platforms regarding passenger counts, event information, trip rescheduling, etc.
- Ensure accurate incident and accident reporting
- Be responsible for company equipment.
- Promote a culture of positivity
- Monitor the safety of employees and guests.
- Performs other, related duties as assigned. These are duties that may not be specifically listed in this description, but which are within the general nature typically associated with the employee's level of work.
- Catches and throws heaving lines from ship's docking.
- Pulls mooring lines down the dock and secure to bollards and removes mooring lines from bollards..
- Performs various dock inspections
- Welcoming guests in a polite and friendly manner.
- Informing guests about departure times, location of stops, and other needed information.
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be willing to report to multiple locations
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 lbs over head
- Must be a self starter with the ability to work independently
- Must posses provide superb customer service
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
- Willing to sell upgrades to customers
- Must be willing to Work up to 12 hour shifts
- Must be willing to work on holidays and weekends
- $18/hrly
- Weekly bonus incentive
