Position
Event Floor Manager reporting to Operations Manager
Your key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate daily schedules and ensure appropriate coverage for staff
- Create Floor plans and roster for each shift.
- Daily pre shifts to review, menu, floor plan, assign side work, correct uniforms, and review any changes
- Inspect the dining room before each service. Ensure floor is clean, correct table settings, and correct menus are in books
- Engage customers in positive dialogue to ensure return business
- Train staff to complete opening, closing and weekly side-work duties
- Maintain safety and food quality standards
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Oversee boarding and correct seating of guests and overall quality of the guest experience
- Coordinate and optimize FOH and BOH operations
- Provide support to Front-of-House team members to ensure successful service and be willing to jump in and assist with any job
- Overall management of the event to ensure day to day operations run smoothly.
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints. Relay any guest complaints and suggestions to upper management
- Train new and current employees to company standards
- Table touches and ensure steps of service are being followed
- Make sure menu books are the same as online offering
- Check out each team member and final walk through of vessel including the dining room, bar, and kitchen. Complete closing checklist
- Make sure nightly deposit is done and the drawer is counted. Send pictures.
- Verify all checklists and opening/closing procedures are being completed
- Report how each service went to Event Manager
Remuneration
Your salary will be $27.00 per hour less applicable taxes and withholdings, paid in accordance with the Company’s normal payroll practices.
