Torah Prep School of St. Louis is seeking confident and experienced Substitute Teachers to join our team in grades K-8.
Torah Prep School of St. Louis is the largest Jewish Day School in the state of Missouri, providing Torah-based religious and secular education to over 315 students from preschool to 8th grade. Our faculty is composed of some of the most sincere, dedicated and accomplished academic professionals and rebbeim anywhere. Minimum Qualifications :
Ability to follow and communicate lesson plans left by the permanent teacher
Ability to create a climate of respect and fairness for all students
Ability to establish and maintain appropriate classroom behavior / management
Ability to relate to students, staff, and parents in a positive manner
Ability to problem solve
Willingness to be on call to cover absences of the regular teaching staff
Job Responsibilities :
Delivering group and / or individual student instruction
Models conversation, manners, activities, listening skills, etc. for the purpose of demonstrating appropriate social and interpersonal behavior
Monitors students in a variety of educational environments for the purpose of providing a safe and positive learning environment
Reports incidents for the purpose of maintaining the personal safety of students and providing a positive learning environment
Performs other related duties, as assigned
Substitutes should be available to teach at all locations / campuses if needed.
Salary :
Substitute Teachers : $23 per hour
