Summary of Position
This position is responsible for helping to create and develop novel formulations and delivery systems for new and existing drugs. This individual will be responsible for polymer production and synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles that will be used for research partnerships and company internal product development.
Key Responsibilities
Support Polymer and Nanoparticle production:
• Work closely with Director of Development to formulate and produce material required for studies and Partnerships. Assist in development of new nanoparticle platforms for evaluation and testing
• Ensure consistency in material and the process used for their preparation
• Participate in development of research strategies
• Write reports, protocols, SOPs. Analyze data from tests and present results to internal team and partners
Develop and execute Analytical testing procedures:
• Execute analytical testing for our proprietary poly-bile nanoparticle platform across a variety of therapeutic areas.
• Plan, design, and execute protocols; record, interpret and report results for complex studies.
Basic Qualifications
· MS or BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Drug Delivery, Biomedical Engineering or other relevant fields with 3-5 years of experience in drug delivery and development experience.
· Analytical instrumentation experience that includes (pH, HPLC, UV-Vis, NMR, LC/MS), zeta-potential and particle sizing, HPLC and GC techniques, dissolution testing
· Experience in writing data summaries and preparing scientific presentations
