Warehouse Team Member – 2nd Shift
This warm and engaging team member will be an integral part of our Flavor Factory. With a growing business, our Picking team member works within a dedicated team to manage customer orders at our fast-paced warehouse. Activities such as pallet building, order status communication, forklift/pallet jack operating and adhering to safety and quality standards will be a part of daily activities, but it doesn’t stop there.

SUCCESS FACTORS (12-18 months)
- Distribution Expertise: You are proficient in using a scanner to track and pick product throughout the distribution center. Leveraging your distribution experience (preferably food and beverage) and WMS expertise, you ensure that picking is done accurately and on time resulting in zero defects. FEFO is your World – you understand the importance and impact. Even the smallest detail in our customer specifications doesn’t get past you. As a master of all processes and equipment, you help train others in these areas. Additionally, you can trouble shoot both new and common problems. As the needs of our operation change, you seamlessly adapt your work to support it. Collaborates with others effectively to prevent errors in the process.
- Attention to Detail: You are comfortable picking product to orders averaging a minimum of 2,000 cases per day, while still maintaining accuracy. For every order you touch, you take a commonsense approach to building perfect pallets. Using your mathematical skills, you consistently cycle count your order to confirm accuracy.
- Safety First: Maintain a safe and enjoyable work environment while striving for zero safety incidents. Looking at work through a lens of safety, you care deeply about the safety of fellow team members and are comfortable addressing any safety concerns. Using your stellar forklift and/or pallet jack driving skills, you safely transport pallets of product from one location to another and faithfully conduct pre-shift inspections.

- Have Fun!
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in a warehouse (Min 2 years required, 3-5 years preferred)
- 2 years of forklift driver experience, with current certification (Required)
- Experience with warehouse management systems, utilizing scanner technology and or data entry into desktop required
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic and mathematics; required
- Fluent in English for both written and verbal communication
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly through the day
- Driven to learn other aspects of the business, a Team player willing to perform other functions outside of designated role or shift
- Eligible for $1.00 shift differential
- Ability and willingness to work overtime & weekends.
