Summary
Design, develop, integrate, test and validate perception simulation testing software using state-of-the-art recompute testing technology to support perception component development and testing of autonomy software for self-driving trucks. You will shape the future of our data for autonomous trucking by extensively contributing to our perception recompute testing pipeline. In this role, you will be responsible for applying state of the art approaches for Recompute testing in a scalable production setting, contribute to development and release testing, communicate with stakeholders in perception development, integration, infrastructure and verification testing which rely on our recompute simulation pipeline. You will be instrumental in growing the robustness and safety of our self-driving technology.
What you will be doing :
- Advance modern simulation recompute techniques for perception testing based on annotated real data and synthetic rendered data
- Deliver key contributions to design, architecture and implementation of a recompute testing framework that allows to scale perception testing
- Integrate the framework in a cloud environment and automate the pipeline to allow scaling for the target verification and validation of our autonomous trucks
- Support log data replay and metrics development for perception software components
- Identify testing gaps and derive requirements for new or improved test tools, perception simulation environments and test frameworks
