Meet the Team

Join the MCU Applications Team at Torc Robotics, where we develop safety-critical software for the microcontroller (MCU) platforms that power our autonomous driving system. Our team plays a key role in ensuring reliability, performance, and safety in real-time embedded environments. As part of this team, you will work with AUTOSAR, ISO 26262 standards, and cutting-edge embedded software development techniques to support Torc’s autonomous vehicle technology.

What You’ll Do


  • Design, develop, and optimize MCU-based software for real-time safety-critical applications.
  • Implement and integrate AUTOSAR-compliant software solutions.
  • Develop, debug, and test embedded software on Infineon Aurix or similar microcontrollers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software solutions with system architecture.
  • Ensure compliance with functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and support safety case development.
  • Work with low-level software, including device drivers, RTOS, and hardware abstraction layers.
  • Utilize C/C programming and modern embedded development tools to write efficient, maintainable code.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and system performance tuning.


What You’ll Need to Succeed


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 4 years of experience (or a Master’s Degree with 1 years of experience).
  • Strong proficiency in C/C for embedded systems.
  • Experience with AUTOSAR frameworks and MCAL configuration.
  • Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety requirements.
  • Experience working with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debuggers.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, etc.).


Bonus Points!


  • Experience with Infineon Aurix MCUs or other safety-critical processors.
  • Familiarity with Python or scripting for automation in embedded development.
  • Prior experience in automotive or robotics software development.
