What are the responsibilities and job description for the LRSO Technical Writer/Editor position at Torch Technologies, Inc.?
Torch Technologies is seeking a Technical Writer/Editor to join a team supporting the Carriage Equipment Integrated Product Team (IPT) within Long Range Standoff (LRSO) System Program Office (SPO). This position requires a highly motivated individual with technical writing and editing of engineering materials and documents.
Essential duties include:
Manage, process, write, and coordinate acquisition and technical documentation such as Statement of Work (SOW), Statement of Objective (SOO), Request for Proposal (RFP), Source Selection Reports, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), etc.
Interface with schedulers to maintain program top level schedule and general program and contracting schedules.
Develop program presentation material and manage and execute program meetings.
Monitor and advise the team of changes in acquisition regulations as necessary to ensure proper program source selection and program execution to include writing documentation.
Maintain and monitor program files and taskers.
Job Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent discipline. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of BS degree.
Must have at least 3 years in program management and technical writing experience or equivalent.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have an active SECRET DoD security clearance.
Must be eligible for a TOP SECRET clearance.
Additional Notes
This position requires candidates to possess a current SECRET security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to maintain a SECRET security clearance will result in a candidate being ineligible for this position.
This position is located at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.
