Job Description
Torch Technologies is seeking a Radio Frequency Simulation / Systems Design Engineer (Mid level) to join a team to assist the 68th Electronic Warfare Squadron (EWS), 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing (350 SWW), at Eglin AFB, Florida. The mission of the 350 SWW is to develop and test mission data (MD) to defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems, thus enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability in combat.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and test Mission Data (MD) to include EW simulation development and validation testing.
- Support EW system programming / reprogramming, work with other MD engineers to coordinate programming & lab test requirements; organize and participate in MD configuration control boards.
- Assist with the collection, recording, and post-test analysis of data generated during MD testing.
- Provide expert analysis & assistance in threat emitter research (EWIRDB & other resources) to program high fidelity waveform simulations (A2PATS / CEESIM) for use in MD testing.

Desired Qualifications :
Desired (but not required) experience with EW Mission Data, Intelligence Analysis, EW reprogramming for any military aircraft, and / or programming threat modeling and simulation software.
Preferred Qualifications :
Highly desirable (but not required) attributes include a current in-scope Secret security clearance and previous experience in TECHELINT analysis (including SIGE 3810, 4810 and MESAP graduates), antenna design, and digital signal processing.
Also desired (but not required) is knowledge of EW weapons systems development, test and evaluation, and systems engineering experience.
Note : the successful candidate may be required to travel, both domestic and international, so possessing a US passport or having an ability to obtain one is required.
