- Associate Degree, or 2 years of formal technical training and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or requires an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
- Proficient with use of Tape Measures and calipers
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical instructions.
- Able to work a 1st shift with work hours ranging from 6:00am - 4:30pm.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
- Must be familiar with working within AS9100 quality processes.
- Ability to unload raw materials from trucks and store materials.
- Capable of working independently with little direction
- Must follow and comply with all safety rules and guidelines.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience operating an overhead crane and forklift.
- Knowledge of trade tools, equipment, materials, tape measure, and techniques used in safe band saw operation.
- Experience in material control processes
Workplace safety is a priority at Torch. Candidates must receive and present an OSHA 10-Hour Training Course for General Industry certification (either a card from the Department of Labor or certificate of completion from an authorized trainer) within the first 90 days of employment. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed training prior to employment. Training may be completed online.
