- Master’s degree in engineering or related technical field including operations research, mathematics, probability statistics, mathematical logic and/or science.
- 10 years' experience in space system or missile defense system analysis or military operations
- Experience in systems, component or requirements analysis.
- Competence in the rigorous methods of scientific inquiry and analysis.
- Visually display and communicate complex quantitative and qualitative information.
- Computational software skills using databases with Excel.
- Proficiency with MSOffice, Python, Java, and R.
- The candidate must be able to work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, Prime Contractor, and Supporting Contractor personnel.
- Possess a current secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a DOD TS/SCI security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience Operational Testing or working with one or more of the following: Air Force Operational Test & Evaluation Center (AFOTEC), Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), Navy Operational Test & Evaluation (NOT&E), Marine Operational Test & Evaluation (MOT&E), Director, Operational Test & Evaluation (DOT&E) or Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM).
- Experience as a GS Operations Research Series 1515, US Air Force Operations Analyst Series 15A, or U.S. Army Functional Area 49 Operations Research and Systems Analysis (ORSA).
- Understanding of batch processing and analysis test tools such as Qlik, Power Business Intelligence (BI), or Tableau.
- Experience in analysis of space or Missile Defense System (MDS) elements or the interactions between space sensors, ground equipment, and on-orbit satellites.
- Experience with modeling and simulation used in system of system testing.
- Experience staffing products at a field/major command level.
