Required Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Engineering or a related STEM field and a minimum of 8 years of Systems Engineering experience with a minimum of 3 years experience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
- Working knowledge and experience with application of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies including Cameo Enterprise Architecture, MagicDraw, UML, SysML, modeling tools.
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DoDI 5000.02, and OSD SE Policies and Guidance.
- Familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) products.
- Experience developing and implementing tools to conduct requirements management and traceability, configuration management, risk management, and data management.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- SECRET security clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a technical field related to Commercial or DoD Aviation programs.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in systems engineering experience on a complex acquisition program.
- Domain knowledge of Rotorcraft or Aviation platform and systems modeling and simulation highly desired.
- Experience using MBSE tools to convey architectural and technical concepts.
- Experience and familiarity with the Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) Standards and experience advising the Government on best practices for optimization the application of Open Systems Architecture at the appropriate levels of the Work Breakdown structure.
