- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of related network engineering experience.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and various topics such as access control lists, cloud computing, BGP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, load balancers, network access control, OSPF, proxies, SD-Wan, trunks, VLANs, VOIP, VPN, VTC, and wireless.
- Ability to perform network design and implementation.
- Experience with network monitoring and analytics tools.
- Experience with virtualized computing environments and virtual networks.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of customer service.
- Solid organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and verbally, with people of various educational and technical backgrounds.
- Occasional travel is required.
Desired but not required:
- DoD 8570 IAT Certifications (network or security)
Eligibility:
Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
