DescriptionTorgeson Electric is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Telecom Technician to join our team.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have experience with CAT 6 cables, fiber optics, and the construction of telecom / server rooms. This position requires a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and quality, as well as the ability to work with data cables and low voltage systems. Leadership and electrical experience are a plus but not mandatory.
The salary range for this position is competitive and relevant to experience.

- 2 years of experience
- Hands-on experience with CAT 6 cables, fiber optics, and heavy data cabling.
- Proven ability to build and configure telecom / server rooms.
- Proficiency in testing and certifying telecom installations.
- Strong attention to craftsmanship and quality.
- Certifications are preferred but not required (e.g., Leviton, BICSI 1 or 2, or technician level).
- Basic electrical experience preferred but not required.
- Experience working with low voltage systems (e.g., door access control).
- Ability to effectively Communicate
- Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.
- PPE required for all duties.
