Medical Records Specialist
Summary: The Medical Records Specialist will assist the legal team with contacting clients and assist with collecting patient records and filing documents within the database.
ESSENETIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Requesting medical records for the firms’ clients and entering detailed notes in the database.
· Following up to ensure that medical records are received and properly uploaded into the database.
· Assisting with client retention and file transfer activities, obtaining relevant files, and preparing documents.
· Reviewing and interpreting medical records.
· Completing monthly expense report for medical record bills
· Additional clerical duties as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management, and public groups.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to apply concepts of basic math.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
Strong computer skills are essential must possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite as well as project management programs.
