- We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Torito Brands | Nature Gnaws. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all shipments meet predetermined quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Inspect incoming products, confirming specifications through visual and measurement tests, and report any issues to the QC Manager for approval of rejection and return of unacceptable products.
- Perform weightings for product labeling codification process for all inspected shipments to correctly identify product specifications and supplier information.
- Document and update periodic inspection results by completing reports and logs.
- Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations, and engaging in daily cleaning and sanitizing processes according to established procedures.
**Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in food processing environments or quality control roles.
- Ability to work in a team environment and possess good communication and active listening skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to lift 50 pounds using proper techniques.
- Bilingualism (English-Spanish) is required for effective communication with suppliers and colleagues.
