Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests in both casual and fine dining settings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and stocked.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Manage cash handling processes accurately, including operating the cash register and processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverage orders during banquets or catering events.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and responsible alcohol service policies at all times.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bartender in the food industry, preferably in restaurant or fine dining environments.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems for order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail when processing transactions.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude towards guests and team members.
- Previous experience in banquet service or catering is a plus but not required.
