This part-time position will report to the Supervisor, Ballpark Operations at TD Ballpark in Dunedin, Florida. This individual is responsible for performing a wide variety of game day and clubhouse tasks at Blue Jays home games. Acting as either a bat or ball person, this individual must be on-field for the duration of the game. This individual must be able to work outside for extended periods, while demonstrating a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides support for game days including, but not limited to, set-up and tear-down dugouts, equipment, and on-field supplies.
- Provide support for clubhouse operations.
- Set up dugout and bullpen before each game.
- Run baseballs to the umpire during the game.
- Collect bats in between batters.
- Collect balls during batting practice.
- Help around the clubhouse when requested.
- Works with staff to communicate issues relating to assigned work areas.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be a minimum age of 16 as of Opening Day 2025.
- Must present self in a professional manner to interact with fans of all ages.
- Be available to work all game times.
- Be able to work the entirety of any game, no matter the length.
- Desire to work as part of a collaborative, high-performing team.
- Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
