Who we are looking for:
TORQ Distribution is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sales Leader to join our team in Little Rock, AR. This leader should have a proven sales track record, strong team leadership skills, and the ability to coach, develop, manage, and measure performance. In this role, you will lead a team of Territory Managers covering established territories, partnering with independent garages, new car dealerships, and tire stores. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of well-established areas while expanding into rapidly growing markets.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, manage, and hold a team of Territory Managers accountable for sales success.
- Drive sales growth by presenting, promoting, and selling products/services using proven strategies, techniques and information to existing and prospective clients.
- Develop new business relationships while strengthening existing customer partnerships.
- Track, coach, and support weekly sales activity to ensure team success.
- Stay informed on industry trends and new products to better serve customers.
- Coordinate customer visits and product demonstrations as needed.
- Conduct impactful sales presentations and training sessions.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns quickly and effectively.
- Manage financial performance within your book of business.
- Collaborate across teams to support company-wide goals.
Qualifications
- Preferred BA in Business, Marketing or a related field
- 5 years of proven sales experience
- Able to develop sales strategies, marketing ideas & selling techniques
- Proven track record of sales team leadership and growth
- Curious nature and the willingness to be coached for improvement
- Self-motivation to improve your career and financial goals
- Must have a strong initiative, competitive nature, & be goal-oriented
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good oral, written, and technical communication skills
- Proficiency in Office 365; Microsoft Teams a plus
- Attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license required
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range of $95,000 - $115,000, based on experience and qualifications
