Our client, a leading General Contractor in New York City, is seeking a skilled and driven Assistant Project Manager to join their team. Specialising in corporate fit-outs, retail, and healthcare interiors, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects across the boroughs, with a home base in Manhattan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources for commercial interior projects
- Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, architects, and clients to ensure smooth project execution
- Oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
- Prepare and update project reports, track progress, and support senior project managers with day-to-day project needs
- Troubleshoot project challenges, proactively identifying solutions to keep work on track
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work in the USA
- Must have knowledge of construction
- 2 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on commercial interiors preferred
- Familiarity with managing corporate fit-out, retail, or healthcare projects is a strong plus
