Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full estimating process, from initial bid solicitation to final proposal submission.
- Analyze and interpret project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Prepare detailed takeoffs and cost breakdowns for materials, labor, and subcontractor pricing.
- Solicit, review, and verify subcontractor and supplier bids, ensuring complete and competitive pricing.
- Develop bid proposals and RFP responses, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with client requirements.
- Verify scopes of work and identify any gaps, exclusions, or inconsistencies within bid packages.
- Work closely with project managers and clients to develop value engineering solutions and cost-saving alternatives.
- Track and analyze historical cost data to refine future estimates and improve accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handoff from estimating to operations.
