Description
The OR Service Line Lead RN is responsible for assisting with clinical management and assisting with the administrative coordination of the daily clinical operations of the OR, according to the established policies and procedures. The position is a combination of clinical (direct care) and assisting with administrative unit responsibilities to ensure effective delivery of evidenced based clinical patient care. Assures that nursing practices are standardized and are consistent with overall nursing best practices and standards of care. Performs as a role model for patient experience to ensure that the staff provides courteous, respectful, and personalized customer service. Supports the goal of the organization and optimizes the clinical, financial, and human resources of the OR. The OR Service Line Lead RN is also responsible for daily communication, feedback, coaching, and problem-solving unit issues. The OR Service Line Lead RN is responsible for continuous personal growth and development as well as encouraging and / or providing opportunities for staff to gain skills.
