Under the direction of a Manager-Nutrition Services, operate a food service satellite at a middle school facility; plan, organize, prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold menu items to students and staff; maintain satellite facility and equipment in a clean and sanitary manner; train and provide work direction to staff; order and inventory supplies and prepare records and reports as directed. SELECTION PROCEDURE
This is a PROMOTIONAL AND OPEN recruitment to establish an eligibility list, fill a vacancy and hire substitutes. Substitutes work on an as-needed basis to fill in for absent employees. The eligibility list will be used to fill permanent vacancies which may occur during the life of the eligibility list. In a promotional and open recruitment, the promotional list shall take precedence. When the promotional list contains fewer than three eligible and willing employees, certification of additional ranks shall then be made from the open list.
This position is part-time, 27.5 hours per week, 10 months per year.
The recruitment process will consist of a written examation and an oral technical interview, which are tentatively scheduled during the weeks of February 11-21, 2025. Qualified applicants will be notified by US mail or email.
