About the Role - Design Center Sales Consultants work with a wide range of customers, including builders, designers, architects, and homeowners to specify decorative plumbing, lighting, vanities, and hardware, provide technical assistance, and an elevated level of customer service to fulfill our customers’ needs and expectations with their kitchen and bathroom projects. Provide expert guidance from the planning and design process to after sales service.



Responsibilities



  • Manage all stages of the sales process from identifying opportunities, building relationships, providing pricing, executing order quotes, entering orders in the system, scheduling and managing delivery and providing follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Greet customers into the showroom and create a positive experience during every customer interaction.
  • Use your product knowledge and creativity to assist them in choosing products.
  • Collaborate with vendors for continued education to keep up on trends and technical aspects of products.
  • Identify and create new customers through building strong relationships with contractors, builders, designers, retail customers and any other leads.
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline given.
  • Handle and resolve customer inquiries and issues in an effective and professional manner.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our sales systems.
  • Maintain showroom organization and cleanliness to enhance client experience.


Qualifications



  • Previous sales experience in showroom or retail environment, preferably in interior design, furniture, or home building/improvement industry.
  • A positive “anything to get a solution” attitude.
  • Proficiency with computers and software data management systems.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving, multitasking, listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to engage in a consultative sales approach with all different types of customers to recommend solutions for their varying needs.
  • Strong sales aptitude, ability to build rapport with clients and effective negotiation skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines, be detail oriented and be organized.
  • Background in a design or other creative environment a plus.


Pay range and compensation package - Hourly Base Wage Monthly Commission based on your sales
