Job Description
As a cleaner, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks in homes and businesses. This includes ensuring each space meets our high cleanliness standards while exceeding client expectations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks for residential and commercial properties.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, office spaces, and common areas.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sweep floors and surfaces.
- Clean windows, blinds, and light fixtures as needed.
- Handle specialized cleaning tasks, such as carpet cleaning, waxing floors or appliance cleaning (if required).
- Restock cleaning supplies and inform management of supply needs.
- Ensure the security of client properties and adhere to confidentiality standards.
- Report any safety, sanitary, or fire hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Clean building entrances, including glass doors and make sure floors are clean and clear of debris.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to climb ladders and work from heights.
- Knowledge of use of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends if necessary.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safe use and disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Possess working knowledge of the methods, technique, and materials used in custodial work.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license
- 2 years custodial work experience
