Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated part-time law clerk to temporarily support the firm's commercial lease and commercial purchase and sale transaction practice. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in various aspects of legal work, including research and contract review and drafting. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the commercial real estate transactions while contributing to meaningful work in a supportive environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Conducting legal research on commercial real estate related matters
- Updating the firm’s commercial real estate forms library
- Drafting and proofreading commercial real estate related contracts and correspondence
- Evaluating contracts prepared by opposing counsel for responsiveness to negotiated requests.
- Evaluating contracts for responsiveness to client requirements and compliance with law
- Writing short articles and legal updates
- Assists the Firm in other matters related to commercial real estate and business transactions
Minimum Requirements
- 3L or J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Demonstrated interest in real estate law, contracts, and transactions preferred
- Effective oral and written communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Strong organizational and process skills, focused attention to detail, and ability to spot inaccuracies and inconsistencies in contracts
- Proactive self-starter who can be agile when faced with frequently changing needs
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
- Ability to manage confidential information and sensitive situations with tact and discretion
- A cover letter
Technology Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and willing to learn new software
