What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Delivery Driver position at Torrington Hyundai?
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual who will be able to help grow our wholesale buisness and relationships with repair and body shops ! A clean driving record is required, and need to be responsable to arrive on time not just for work, but to deliver to shops when needed!
This will include, but not limited to :
- Safely and efficiently transport parts and equipment to designated locations
- Load and unload parts and equipment from vehicles
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering parts in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure
-Assist checking in parts from stock orders or invoices.
Experience
- Previous experience as a parts driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with heavy lifting and moving equipment
- Knowledge of local roads and routes
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Please note that this position may require heavy lifting, as well as driving various types of vehicles such as box trucks, vans, or tractor-trailers. A valid driver's license is required.
