What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salesforce Administrator position at Tort Intake Professionals?
As a Salesforce Administrator, you will play a vital role in continually improving and enhancing our partner-focused Salesforce platform. Our data is our product, and it must be protected at all times. A successful candidate will be proactive in gathering requirements, designing best-practice solutions, and supporting a wide range of user needs. You will manage various aspects of user engagement—from support tickets and training to customizing and optimizing the platform—always keeping user satisfaction as a top priority. You should also be comfortable learning new business processes to effectively translate them into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- System Configuration
- Implement Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to):
- Flows, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, and custom settings
- Assignment rules, approval processes, dashboards, and reports
- Mobile administration and sandbox management
- Customize workflows, Flows, and Process Builder to align with business processes.
- Data Management
- Import and export data, ensuring data integrity through validation rules.
- Perform data cleansing activities to maintain high data quality.
- Security Management
- Set up sharing rules and organization-wide defaults (OWD).
- Manage roles, profiles, permissions, and other security measures to meet regulatory requirements and protect sensitive information.
- Automation
- Design and implement Flows, approval processes, and custom triggers to automate repetitive tasks.
- Integration Management
- Configure and maintain integrations with other applications (e.g., Law Ruler, Salesforce/Litify, Workbench, Dataloader, and other Connected Apps) to streamline data flow.
- User Adoption & Support
- Monitor and improve user adoption through training and targeted support.
- Manage user accounts, address support tickets, and develop solutions that prioritize user satisfaction.
- Technical Documentation
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, data models, and integrations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform features and functionalities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally
- Comprehensive understanding of data management practices
- Experience with Salesforce configuration tools (e.g., Flows, workflows, and Process Builder)
- Proactive attitude toward platform enhancements and best practice solutions
- Ability to be available and responsive to user inquiries
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels
- Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules)
