Position Overview -Feed Mill Maintenance
Tosh Farms is a rapidly growing, family-owned, crop and swine production business with over 450 employees, and we are growing to 500 employees within the next year. As part of that growth, we need an enthusiastic and detail-oriented person to perform maintenance on site at our feed mill located in Henry, TN. The feedmill produces over 7,000 tons of feed each week. The Feedmill Maintenance position will be able to work days Monday through Friday 6a-4p & respond to emergency calls after hours. The Feed Mill Maintenance Generalist is a hourly position/ pay level grade (5 plus) that reports to the Feed Mill Supervisor and is responsible for overseeing diagnosing and repairing all equipment and completing daily work orders in the feed mill.
What You Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment
- Inspect equipment, structures, or material to identify causes of error or defects
- Communicate with essential personnel
- Complete work orders in a timely manner
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Lead and mentor Maintenance Helpers
Who You Are
- Heavy equipment operations experience preferred
- Excellent written & verbal communication
- Self-motivated
- Ability to multi task
- Able to work extended hours/weekends as needed
- Zero injury mindset
- General knowledge of equipment and controls
- Work Monday through Friday 6a-4p
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb up and down ladders safely, walk up and down steps, and work at heights to measure bins
- Can lift/carry/push/pull at least fifty (50) pounds
- Ability to work outside, including in inclement weather
- Able to stand and walk for the majority of each day
