Summer 2025 Applications Engineer Intern

The Electrical Engineering Intern will be assigned projects involving the design and development of systems related to industrial power electronics.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on engineering experience on electrical engineering based projects.
• Work directly with other engineers and professionals in a team environment and see how Toshiba's engineers work together to deliver success.
• Develop your skills under the supervision and guidance of experienced professionals.
• Intern to support LMS training roll-out.
• Develop product based LMS content.
• Assist Training Manager and Training Intern in developing additional content for LMS.

Requirements

This role will be on-site Monday - Friday. Must have reliable transportation and able to work from HQ located in Houston, TX.

Education/Certification Required

Current enrollment in Electrical Engineering program at an accredited college or university.

Skills And Experience

• Ability to work 40hrs per week at our office located in Northwest Houston, TX.
• Must be a team player and able to work in a culturally diverse environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
• MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access)
• AutoCad
• Adobe
• Power systems experience is a plus.
