Assist in the development and implementation of clear, complete and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes for engineering or manufacturing purposes, according to specified dimensions using computer and specially designed software.

Assist in the development and implementation of clear, complete and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes for engineering or manufacturing purposes, according to specified dimensions using computer and specially designed software.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic product design modifications.
- Clean up drawings and work through table formatted drawings.
- Update Motor Outlines for MVM and LVM. Change paint to green on all MVM motor outlines and update all LVM outlines similar to MVM to have revision control.
- Upload Missing drawings to WC. Update BOM’s where a mass change can’t be done and single BOM’s update are needed.
- Develop basic detail and assembly drawings for products and equipment.
- Perform engineering change processes as necessary to support existing products.
- Create 3-D models from 2-D drawings.
- Generate and scan prints.
- Ability to perform mechanical/electrical design calculations.
- Categorize a wide arrangement of existing parts.
- Work directly with other engineers and professionals in a team environment and see how Toshiba's engineers work together to deliver success.
- Develop your skills under the supervision and guidance of experienced professionals.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Current enrollment in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technology program
- Must have completed 3D modeling class (Pro-Engineer or Solid Works)
- AutoCAD (CREO or Solidworks): Proficiency in this computer-aided design software.
- Organization: Keeping tasks and projects well-structured.
