Summary
The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead and oversee the recruitment process, ensuring the organization attracts, engages, and hires top talent. This role involves managing a team of recruiters, developing and executing recruiting strategies, and collaborating with hiring managers to fulfill staffing needs across various departments. The Talent Acquisition Manager will focus on creating a streamlined, effective recruitment process while maintaining a positive candidate experience. Additionally, the Talent Acquisition Manager will monitor key performance metrics and continuously optimize the talent acquisition strategy to support the company's growth and business objectives. In addition to leading recruitment initiatives, the Talent Acquisition Manager will work closely with leadership to define compensation strategies, ensuring the company remains competitive in the marketplace.
Reporting Relationship
This position reports to the Director, Human Resources.
Major Duties and Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters to effectively meet recruitment goals and business needs.

Partner with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand job requirements and hiring objectives.

Manage the end-to-end recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.

Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract diverse talent pools and meet staffing requirements.

Utilize various recruiting platforms, social media channels, job boards, and networking events to source candidates.

Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.

Manage recruitment metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and drive continuous improvement.

Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and other strategic partners.

Oversee the preparation of job descriptions and job postings to attract top-tier candidates.

Organize and attend career fairs, recruiting events, and other talent acquisition initiatives to build the company’s employer brand.

Partners with leadership to understand and execute the organization’s talent strategy particularly as it relates to business initiatives.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, ensuring best practices are followed. Reviews policies and practices regularly to uphold compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to recruiting and hiring.

Collaborate with HR and leadership to design and manage competitive compensation strategies aligned with market trends and organizational goals.

Conduct regular compensation benchmarking to ensure the organization’s pay structure is competitive.

Analyze job roles and responsibilities to determine appropriate salary grades and pay bands.

Assist in developing compensation packages, including base salary, bonuses, and benefits offerings.

Stay up to date with compensation trends and labor market changes.

Analyze compensation data and present recommendations to leadership to ensure pay equity and competitiveness.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to hiring, onboarding, and compensation outcomes.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Skills and Qualifications

7 years of experience in recruitment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

Experience in recruiting across multiple functions and levels within a fast-paced, dynamic organization.

Proven experience managing a team of recruiters and driving team performance.

Strong computer skills in Microsoft office suite.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess recruitment metrics and interpret compensation data and provide actionable recommendations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build cross functional relationships through collaboration.

Ability to provide the necessary information to make proper decisions and giving direction to remain in compliance with policies and regulations.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices and candidate sourcing techniques.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

Strong knowledge of compensation strategies, market trends, and compliance requirements.

Ability to lead and motivate a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Expertise with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms (Paycom, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
