Summary

The Engineering Intern works on assigned projects and tasks given to complete throughout the duration of the internship. The Intern brings a new perspective on current company issues and helps to solve daily tasks assigned to him.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Help engineers on special projects throughout the duration of the internship.

• Maintain a positive working relationship with employees to ensure cooperation on projects.

• Assist engineers on engineering projects.

• Collect and analyze data, maintaining a detailed and clear lab notebook.

• Bring new, creative ideas to help solve existing problems.

• Complete all duties assigned by direct supervisor.

• Other related duties.

Education

• Undergraduate college student studying Engineering.

Skills and Qualifications

• Effective organizational and time management skills

• Ability and willingness to accurately document results of work activities.

• Effective communication skills and ability and willingness to take direction and collaborate with others

• Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

• Strong computer skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability and willingness to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all required safety protocols.

• Must be able to stand and walk for brief periods of time.

• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
