What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Director position at Tossed & Found Boutique?
The Longville Area Foodshelf (LAFS) is seeking a full time Executive Director to manage our local food shelf and thrift store (Tossed and Found Boutique). This position is responsible for the overall functions of LAFS and the store, including staffing, policies, customer relations and other functions necessary for supporting the programs of the LAFS Inc. This position involves directing and teaching others to create and insure an organized safe environment. The Executive Director reports to the LAFS Board of Directors.
Required skills include:
- experience in non-profit environment
-understands budget development and management
- experience with retail operations, including point of sale systems
- skilled computer knowledge (Word, Excel, QuickBooks)
- proven people manager
- ability to build relationships with employees, volunteers, vendors and community groups
