About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled A&P Mechanic for the Aircraft Assembly Department. In this role, you’ll contribute directly to the design and production of high-performance kit aircraft. Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, inspect, and maintain aircraft systems and structures to FAA standards.
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and adjustments on airframes and powerplants for peak performance and safety.
- Collaborate with engineers during the integration and testing of new prototypes.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of maintenance procedures and compliance records.
- Conduct functional and safety tests on aircraft components.
- Provide technical input to enhance efficiency during the design and development phases.
What You Bring
- A&P Certification: Required.
- Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience with small aircraft.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Problem-Solving: Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and technical challenges.
- Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in kit aircraft assembly or experimental aviation.
