Responsibilities:
- Lead and Direct: Manage planning, resources, and coordination for the Maintenance Operations Control Department and CASS program.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Uphold standards within the Maintenance Division.
- Establish and Review Metrics: Develop performance metrics aligned with regulatory and safety protocols.
- Analyze and Strategize: Improve business processes through guidance, mentorship, and strategic enhancements.
- Drive Cultural Initiatives: Promote a culture focused on safety and compliance.
- Develop Training: Collaborate with Training and the VP of Maintenance and Engineering on training content and staffing needs.
- Create and Maintain KPIs: Manage maintenance performance briefings to align with American Airlines' goals.
- Supervise Teams: Oversee teams and coordinate with IT for project and reporting needs.
- Act as Director: Serve as Director of Maintenance Operations Control or VP of Maintenance and Engineering during absences.
- Oversee Safety Management: Manage Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs within the Company’s SMS.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation management or a related field.
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
- Meet requirements outlined in 14 CFR Part 119.67(c).
- 5 years of leadership experience in a Part 121 maintenance organization.
- Strong background in labor environments and working across organizational boundaries.
- Proficient knowledge of Continuous Analysis and Surveillance Systems.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in English and authorized to work in the U.S.
