Responsibilities:
- Lead the CNS work center, managing the support and maintenance of radar equipment.
- Overhaul, repair, and modify ground radar systems, including analog-to-digital interface systems (e.g., STRAP).
- Isolate malfunctions using prescribed checking procedures, visual inspections, and voltage checks with electronic test equipment.
- Execute technical equipment modifications and manage the assembly, installation, and repair of antenna systems and waveguides.
- Install, repair, and maintain airport electrical systems, including troubleshooting PAPI electric control circuits.
- Conduct corrosion control, ensuring accurate and complete maintenance data records.
- Verify operational conditions of radar systems per technical manuals and directives.
- Adjust and align radar systems for recertification, managing radar display interface equipment in control towers.
- Use standard and advanced radar test equipment to lead and guide a technical team.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience with teams of 6 or more members.
- Extensive expertise in radar systems and electronic test equipment.
- Familiarity with technical manuals, compliance directives, and maintenance protocols.
- Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance or higher.
