Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, comprehensive patient care, including assessments, diagnoses, and emergency treatments.
- Accurately document patient stabilization, transport details, and billing information.
- Maintain clear communication with management, internal teams, and external partners.
- Participate in public relations and marketing initiatives.
- Enhance skills through mandatory training, clinical rotations, and education sessions.
- Meet annual competency requirements and maintain active certifications.
- Work under the Medical Director’s guidance, following all medical protocols.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of employment.
- 3 years of critical care/emergency experience (5 preferred).
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and one of the following: TNATC, TNCC, ITLS, or PHTLS (NRP and instructor certifications preferred).
- CFRN certification required within 24 months of hire.
- Flight or transport nursing experience preferred.
- Completion of PHI Air Medical Group education/orientation required.
- Strong human relations skills for effective communication.
- Body weight must remain below 235 lbs to meet clinical personnel weight restrictions.
- Basic computer skills for electronic charting and communication.
- Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam including strength and flexibility assessment and drug screening.
