Location : Madison, IN | Sign-On Bonus : Up to $75,000 | Location Bonus : Up to 12.5%
About the Role
Total Aviation Staffing is seeking a VFR Pilot to join a leading air medical transport provider in Madison, Indiana. This position offers the unique opportunity to combine your aviation expertise with life-saving missions. As a VFR Pilot, you will be a crucial part of a team that delivers critical care with precision, efficiency, and an unwavering commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a BH407 VFR / NVG helicopter under CAMTS guidelines.
- Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure aircraft readiness and safety.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to provide safe, reliable, and efficient medical transport services.
- Support the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) and participate in safety campaigns such as Destination Zero .
- Assist with the loading and unloading of patients and equipment as required.
- Actively engage in community outreach programs while adhering to company policies and operational protocols.
Qualifications
Commercial Helicopter License with Instrument Rating.
Minimum 2,000 total flight hours (1,500 helicopter, 1,000 PIC helicopter, 500 turbine helicopter).
Must meet body weight limit of 235 lbs.
