Total Aviation Staffing is seeking a VFR Pilot for a Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) operation in Chillicothe, Missouri . This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine advanced piloting skills with life-saving missions. Join a team dedicated to delivering rapid medical response in challenging environments while prioritizing safety and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate BH407 VFR / NVG helicopters under CAMTS guidelines.
- Ensure safe and efficient flight operations for HAA missions, including 24-hour day / night rotations.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight checks, adhering to safety protocols.
- Participate in community outreach programs and uphold company policies.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of patients and medical equipment as needed.
- Support the Safety Management System (SMS) and company initiatives like Destination Zero .
Qualifications
Commercial Helicopter License with Instrument Rating.
2,000 total flight hours (1,500 helicopter, 1,000 PIC helicopter, 500 turbine helicopter).
Must meet a body weight limit of 235 lbs .
BH407 qualifications, EMS experience, and night vision goggle operations are a plus.
