HR Business Partner

As an HR Business Partner, you will have the opportunity to become an integral part of a dynamic team based in Hamburg, Germany. In this role, you'll drive the HR functions essential to the company's success by implementing strategies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance in collaboration with the Chief Human Resources Officer. This role supports and develops HR initiatives that align with business objectives, offering a career-enhancing platform for HR professionals passionate about making a tangible impact.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support managers and employees on performance management, professional development, and workplace conditions.
• Ensure compliance with German labour laws and safety regulations.
• Lead recruitment processes focusing on operational roles, notably painters, to satisfy organizational requirements.
• Develop and manage HR policies and procedures, ensuring strategic alignment with company goals.
• Oversee employee training programs, including occupational risk assessments, to promote safety and skill development.
• Proactively manage employee relations, address workplace challenges, and foster a positive work environment.
• Monitor HR metrics such as turnover and absenteeism, proposing actionable solutions for improvement.
• Collaborate on group-wide HR initiatives, including employee engagement and leadership development.
• Maintain precise employee records and personal protective equipment documentation.
• Liaise with the works council alongside the local General Manager to ensure effective agenda setting and follow-up on actions.
• Prepare and present comprehensive HR reports for local and group-level evaluation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally in a production or manufacturing setting.
• University degree in Psychology, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
• Fluency in English, Polish, and German.
• Solid knowledge of German labour laws, including occupational health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR management software; data analysis skills advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to navigate diverse cultural contexts.
• Strong organizational skills with an aptitude for multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of independent work.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
