Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of tests and analyses.
• Manage the analysis and control of metal finishing solutions.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring reliable results.
• Coordinate with the purchasing department for inventory management of chemicals.
• Monitor and control temperature, pH, and chemistry of plating baths through regular testing.
• Oversee and schedule tank maintenance crucial to production processes.
• Ensure all products adhere to stringent quality standards through regular testing and analysis.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements in all lab activities.
• Lead and develop a team of laboratory technicians, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused environment.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, materials science, or a related field; equivalent industry experience is acceptable.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in laboratory management within a manufacturing or plating environment.
• CEF Certification required.
• Familiarity with wet chemical analysis, including pH, conductivity, and other analytical techniques.
• Experience with AS9100 quality management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data management software
