Overview of the Role:
As a Senior Mechanic (IA), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of customer aircraft by conducting thorough maintenance and repairs. You will diagnose problems, consult maintenance records, and oversee annual preventative maintenance programs, including for electric vehicles and their charging stations. Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, you will work alongside a dedicated team to uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance with FAA and customer requirements from Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and determine maintenance, repair, or overhaul needs for aircraft and vehicles.
- Review daily driver reports and maintenance records to identify required work.
- Perform troubleshooting, inspections, and routine/non-routine maintenance on customer aircraft.
- Use aircraft maintenance manuals to determine repair or replacement methods for components.
- Carry out maintenance tasks, including bolting, torquing, rigging, safety wiring, and component/engine replacement.
- Complete and attach parts tags for repairable, serviceable, or condemned items.
- Return aircraft to service via company logbooks or customer-authorized documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience and expertise in aircraft and vehicle maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of technical data and customer maintenance program requirements.
- Ability to work efficiently within estimated hours while meeting quality standards.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and inspections.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations and standards.
