About the Role:
Total Aviation Staffing seeks a skilled VFR Pilot for an air medical transport provider in Rushville, IN. Join an elite team delivering life-saving missions with safe and reliable aviation operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a BH407 VFR/NVG helicopter under CAMTS guidelines.
- Conduct pre- and post-flight checks for safety.
- Perform line pilot duties per the General Operations Manual (GOM).
- Support the Safety Management System (SMS) and community outreach.
- Assist with patient and equipment loading as needed.
Qualifications:
- Licenses: Commercial Helicopter License with Instrument Rating, First Class Medical Certification.
- Experience: 2,000 total flight hours (1,500 helicopter, 1,000 PIC, 500 turbine).
- Preferred: BH407 qualifications, EMS, NVG, or mountain flight experience.
- Other: Must meet a 235 lb. weight limit, pass FAA physical, drug test, and background check.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Sign-On Bonus: Up to $100K
- Location Bonus: 12.5%
