Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time Cosmetology Educator to join our team. This role involves teaching students theoretical and practical aspects of cosmetology, ensuring they are prepared for success in the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct students in cosmetology theory and hands-on techniques.
- Prepare lesson plans and deliver engaging, interactive instruction.
- Demonstrate and supervise practical applications in hair, skin, and nail care.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and professional learning environment.
- Ensure compliance with state cosmetology licensing requirements.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Cosmetology Instructor in the state of Florida (or ability to obtain).
- 2 years of industry experience in cosmetology.
- Prior teaching or training experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for education and mentoring future beauty professionals.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time position, with flexible hours (evenings and weekends may be required).
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
