Skin Care Specialist and Spa Assistant

Total Body Skin Care and Wellness Spa, a growing, well-established spa in Wayne NJ specializing in facials, massage, lymphatic drainage, body sculpting and waxing, has a unique opportunity for aspiring estheticians who have recently graduated as skin-care specialists in New Jersey.

Total Body's core clientele is made up mostly of upper-middle-class and affluent women aged 35-70.

As a Skin Care Apprentice and Spa Assistant, you will bring new energy and enthusiasm to our growing business, gaining on-the-job training while working as the technical assistant to our founder, an esthetician and massage therapist with 30 years of experience. This position will provide you with an amazing opportunity to gain advanced skin-care knowledge and experience by observing and performing facials in our spa.

When not assisting in the treatment room, you will perform tasks that are supportive to all our therapists, in terms of readying/turning over treatment rooms, prepping machines, stocking shelves, clearing sheets and keeping common areas clean and organized, and creating and helping to manage our social media presence.

Over time, we hope that you will grow into a full-time esthetician at Total Body, performing classic and advanced facials, waxing and body sculpting treatments.

Preferred experience/background:

NJ Skin Care Specialist License required, some work experience a plus.

Bi-lingual Spanish/English required.

Proven social media skills.
