Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws and collecting samples from patients in various locations, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to safety protocols. Duties
- Perform venipuncture and blood sampling in accordance with established protocols.
- Collect and label specimens accurately, ensuring proper handling and transportation.
- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary during the collection process.
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate laboratory results.
- Adhere to all laboratory procedures and medical terminology relevant to phlebotomy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of mobile equipment and supplies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in phlebotomy or related laboratory techniques is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, medical terminology, and physiology.
- Proficiency in venipuncture techniques and blood sampling methods.
- Ability to perform vital signs assessments as needed.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols for specimen collection.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for mobile duties.

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
